•Objectives are to cultivate and groom Environment Champions (ECs) in the school, corporate and NGO sectors •School workshops are to Impart environmental knowledge & increase students awareness of environmental issues that may affect them, their families and workplace & communities •Corporate & NGO workshops are to impart the skillsets for ECs to drive environmental initiatives within and beyond organisations •Features of workshops includes use of resource materials such as Environmental Resource Toolkit, site visits, experiential learning, group project works, interactive games & 3-mth project tracking •More than 250 students from 75 primary & secondary schools, JCs & ITEs joined 3 sessions in 3 different schools during the Jun 15 training workshops with site visits to City Square Mall, Kovan Market and Food Centre •Close to 200 corporate and NGO executives from more than 60 different organizations participated in the 6 training workshops held from Jun 15 – Feb 16 •Topics covered included Project Management, Systems Thinking, Design Thinking for Innovation, Social Entrepreneurship and Volunteer Management •Highlight included site visit to Tuas South Incineration Plant •The workshops were well received with most participants rated them as excellent/good
